YWCA honors Phyllis Currie as a
Woman of Excellence

General Manager for Pasadena Water & Power 

Since April of 2001, the utility has been under Currie's leadership.  During that time, the utility has constructed two new electric generation units (90 megawatts) at the city-owned power plant, embarked on multi-year infrastructure improvement programs to upgrade the city’s water and electrical distribution systems and is building a water treatment plant to clean up ground water contamination.
