~ What Every Woman Should Know About a Man’s Health ~
often play a key role in decision making for their family’s health. In
many cases, the life of a man has been saved because a woman urged him – a
brother, father, partner - to get his health checked.
The Gates Millennium scholarship is selective and prestigious and pays for both college and graduate school, leaving a student with an open ability to pursue whatever occupation she pleases.
One of the John Muir students, Valeria Sosa has now been selected as a winner, according to Hilda Ramirez of the Pasadena Unified School District.
Sosa maintains an estimated 3.94 GPA while taking part in the school's Engineering Academy, varisty soccer team for four years and Puente Club.
Valeria is also a part of many community groups. Not only is she been an active member in our Just for Girls group over the past two years, she is also a part of Neighbors Empowering Youth. She is poised to be her graduating class's valedictorian.
