Exercise for Life, Work and Well-being

Although we offer comprehensive health and fitness programs, we are not your typical fitness center.  Our focus is on providing our members with personal and comprehensive health services in a non-intimidating, modern and clean facility.  Members enjoy the convenience, the reasonable cost, the quick-in quick-out service and the friendly staff.  Members are not numbers at the YWCA, they are valued customers our staff is pleased to serve.

The YWCA Fitness Center, now managed by TriHealth, offers you comprehensive, medically based fitness services in modern and clean surroundings.  Convenient, friendly and affordable, the Center is your place to exercise for life, work and well-being.

 

     
Membership Includes
  • New member orientation and exercise prescription from experienced and friendly staff
  • Exercise room with full range of cardiovascular machines, weight training equipment, free weights, stereo and TV
  • Four lane pool, 25 yards long, 3-9 feet deep, 83-85 degree water, for lap swimming, water aerobics and water walking
  • Relaxation area with whirlpool, dry-heat sauna and lounge area
  • Indoor rubberized track for running and walking
  • Full-court gym
  • Health promotion and educational materials

  • Monday through Friday 5:30 am - 8:30 pm
  • Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

   Exercise Classes and Wellness Programs

  • Spinning
  • Yoga
  • Pilates
  • Lunchtime Group Fitness Classes including abs, boot camp, and step aerobics.
  • Water Aerobics- The water is the safest environment to exercise when recovering from an injury and/or suffering from arthritis or any other joint disorder. Slow moving, gentle exercises are performed for all joints to help increase flexibility and range of motion and decrease inflammation and pain.
  • Pick-up Basketball- lunchtime basketball games at indoor gym feature competitiveness and camaraderie.
  • Self-Defense- Participants learn self-awareness and safety tactics as well as self-defense techniques during this dynamic hands-on course taught by certified law-enforcement defense tactic instructors.
