Nominations for 2009 Women of Influence Awards are now closed.
Thank you for your interest in submitting a nomination for the 2009 Women of Influence Awards.
The Women of Influence Awards honor women in the greater Dayton community who have made a positive impact on the lives of people in the Miami Valley through their community service.
Nominees do not have to be active in the YWCA, but should exemplify community spirit, leadership, volunteerism and making a difference in the lives of others.

Holiday Wish List
This annual program seeks donations of new toys for children in the YWCA's Domesitc Violence Shelter, shelter for homeless teens who are parenting, and the families of recently sheltered women who are struggling to rebuild their lives.
Donations of new, unwrapped toys can be delivered to the YWCA Dayton located at 141 W. Third St. at the corner of Third and Wilkinson, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm beginning November 7 through December 5. Monetary donations are always welcome and checks payable to YWCA Dayton can be mailed to 141 W. Third St., Dayton, OH 45402. We have a 138-year legacy of addressing critical social needs in our Dayton community, including: domestic violence, racial justice, homelessness, childcare, affordable housing, plus self-sufficiency and personal development for women and teens.
Your investment will provide hope for a better tomorrow to the women and children who turn to the YWCA during their most desperate times looking for shelter, comfort, guidance and the opportunity to rebuild their lives.
The YWCA will provide you with special donation envelopes, if requested, and will send honorees a notice of your gift if received before December 20, 2008. Checks and credit cards are accepted.
