    2008!
The first annual Zumbathon raised over $6,000 in support of domestic violence prevention programs in Pierce County. On Saturday, June 28, 2008, teams and individuals raised money to support the YWCA among three other domestic violence programs! Zumba is a fusion of aerobic exercise and Latin dance that can be done by anyone at all levels of intensity and skill.

2008 Annual Celebration Luncheon--Biggest Success to Date!
The 2008 Annual Celebration Lunchon was a great success! Thanks to our incredible donors, we netted $121,000! Thank you to everyone who contributed. We wish to thank Nontombi Naomi Tutu, Laurie Jinkins, and Elyse Umemoto for their inspiring speeches.

YWCA Donation Day

Help our Women's Support Shelter residents by donating gently used clothing and household items! Bring your donations to the YWCA staff parking lot across from our building at 405 Broadway on the second Saturday of each month, from 10 to 3.

A partnership with the Tacoma Goodwill allows us to manage our clothing and household item donations effectively. The Goodwill accepts donations on our behalf in exchange for vouchers residents can use freely at any Pierce County Goodwill location!
