The YWCA San Antonio was chartered in 1910 with the mission of developing personal empowerment and self-sufficiency in women and their families.  Today the YWCA strengthens families in the San Antonio community by providing an array of programs that focus on   childcare;   economic development;    health education; and  youth development.
