Program Services
You are not alone. We're here to help! The YWCA can provide support in a variety of ways. Services include:

  • Safe, confidential emergency shelter for women and their children who are victims of domestic violence. The shelter operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Hotline at 765-423-1118 or 888-345-1118 (toll free). Collect calls are accepted. The hotline operates 24 hours a days, seven days a week.
  • Protective orders
  • Legal advocacy such as attorney referrals and emotional support during proceedings and appointments
  • Free 9-1-1 cell phones for people who use YWCA domestic violence services. The phones can provide quick access to police protection for people who are dealing with harassment, stalking, or domestic violence. If you received an analog cell phone, please visit the DVIPP offices to exchange it for a digital cell phone. Read more.
  • Spanish-speaking staff. Groups can be conducted and services can be provided in Spanish.
  • Support groups and classes, including a parenting program.
  •  CANNE - Parenting Class in Spanish
  •  Choices- series of anger management classes for women
  • Resources provided (with continuous case management) to help women find employment, housing, financial resources, childcare, counseling, etc., in order to become self-sufficient.
  • Child advocacy and child abuse prevention education
  • Educational presentations for adults, teens, children, schools and groups.
  • Services to a six-county area: Benton, Carroll, Clinton, Tippecanoe, Warren and White.
