YWCA English class teaches people of various languages, cultures

"As many women know, walking a mile in high heels can be a challenge.
Men of all ages are invited to take that challenge Saturday to raise awareness about sexual assault and domestic violence during the YWCA of Niagara Frontier’s second annual “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event.
Anyone is welcome to participate, and heels are not mandatory, vice president of programming at YWCA of Niagara Frontier Mary Brennan-Taylor said.
Last year was the first time the YWCA of Niagara Frontier hosted the event, and the first time it had been held in the area. Nearly 100 people turned up for the walk, which was held around the same time in April, YWCA prevention educator Rachel Sandle said."
