What We Do

We create real change

YWCA works every day to eliminate racism and empower women. Through advocacy and programming, we create real change for women, families and communities.

YWCA of Youngstown has taken a stand to address issues directly affecting the lives of women and children in the Mahoning Valley.  We are advocates through education and through action!

We strive to follow the directive of our mission: the elimination of racism and the empowerment of women. We offer quality, affordable child care. Teach diversity components in after-school programs. Provide a home for victims of domestic violence and homelessness.

Child care. Housing.  Health care.  These issues affect all of us, and together we can all do something about them.
