Quality, Affordable Child Care For Children ages 6 weeks to 5 years

 

YWCA of Youngstown child care programs serve the needs of working families or those who are furthering their education by providing quality, affordable child care for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years.  Each program is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

Up to 10% discount is available to families working in the downtown area.

Up to 15% discount is available for employees of VXI.

YWCA Discovery Place operates a year-round preschool.
 
NEW EXTENDED HOURS Operating Hours: Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Infants & Toddlers

Location: 25 W. Rayen Avenue, located in downtown Youngstown.
The infant and toddler program serves children ages 6 weeks to 2 1/2 years.  In addition to excellent caring and nurturing, this program features developmentally appropriate curriculum.

Preschool Program

Location: 25 W. Rayen Avenue, located in downtown Youngstown.
The preschool program is open for children ages 2 1/2 years to 5 years.  This program features age-appropriate curriculum designed for kindergarten-readiness and enrichment classes including language arts, cultural diversity, and music.
Introucing New STEM focused curriculum for Preschoolers.

Summer STEAM

Camps range from full week to one day, depending on the program.
