$0-50 FEE PER SEMESTER FOR PICK-UP BASED ON HOUSEHOLD INCOME

The YWCA’s Girls Empowerment after-school programming runs throughout the PUSD school year for girls ages 10-14. Monday through Thursday, the YWCA offers a diverse curriculum incorporating both humanities and STEM focused activities. The girls will explore everything from creative storytelling to hands on science activities, social justice to sustainability, self-expression to the scientific method. Meanwhile, they’ll be building a sisterhood amongst themselves – through their artistic expression via visual, literary and performing art as well as their scientific discovery and technological innovation. Activities will include: poetry workshops, zine making, photography, mini-film productions, printmaking, designing and printing 3D objects, editing photos and graphic design, robotics, and exploring science through fun hands-on experiments.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN THROUGHOUT THE PUSD SCHOOL YEAR, YOU MAY REGISTER AT ANY TIME. Participants may download the registration form here, fill it out completely, and return it to us via the methods below:
