Masters Swimming

The Flying Fish Masters swimming program is designed to help adults improve their swimming skills. Flying Fish Masters put their skills to use in triathlons or swim meets, but the majority swim simply for the health of it - whatever your goal, we'd love to help you reach it. Come fine tune your fundamentals and get a work-out too!

Contact Flying Fish Aquatics at 847-864-8445 for additional information or stop by the front desk at YWCA Evanston/North Shore to register.

Spring 2017

April 3 - June 2, 2017

Early morningsMonday, Friday6:00-7:15 am
AfternoonsTuesday, Thursday, Friday1:00-2:15 pm

Fees: Please pay the following at the front desk along with a completed registration form. You do NOT need to separate payments-it can all be paid together via one check or a CC. The main YWCA fee is $220 (that will go on the line across from your name, age, and “Masters” in the class section), the FF Booster fee is $40 and should be noted towards the bottom near the “other” section. If you have paid for Fall/Winter, you may take a $60 discount off the YWCA portion.

Any questions? Please contact Anne Wolff.

Please remember that you may not use the separate lap swim times unless you have paid for the current season. We offer these times in addition to the practices, but if you are not registered you must pay at the front desk for lap swimming. The schedule and fees for lap swim is available here.

Are you new to Masters? Not sure you want to commit?

For those of you who might be new to the program, please come try out a couple practices and see if we’re a good fit. For anyone totally new to a practice setting, we recommend attending an evening or midday practice if possible while you’re getting used to things. Most swimmers on the team attend 2 or 3 practices a week with the goal of improving their swimming and fitness, while working out with a fun group of people. Whatever your ability or goals are, there will be others in the same category and we are happy to work with you to feel at ease and comfortable during practices.
