Let's Talk @ Lunch
The YWCA is committed to eliminating racism. As we learn to talk THROUGH the issue of racism (instead of around it), we need to share a common language, and practice our conversation skills by looking at events and institutions through a racial equity lens. One opportunity for such practice is our “Let’s Talk @ Lunch” program. Participants bring their lunch, the YWCA Evanston/North Shore provides the beverage, facilitator and a topic, article or video clip as the catalyst for honest conversation. We gather at noon; conversation runs from 12:10 to 1:00 pm. Mark your calendars now for the following "Let’s Talk @ Lunch" dates and locations:
Family Focus, 2010 Dewey Ave., Evanston
Curt's Cafe, 2922 Central Street, Evanston
YWCA Evanston/North Shore, 1215 Church Street, Evanston
ALL ARE WELCOME!
