"The Truth"
Ever wonder why Falun Dafa is being persecuted?
In 1992, a man named Li Hongzhi began to teach Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) seminars all over China. This gentle practice incorporated meditative exercises and a set of three guiding principles: Zhen (truth), Shan (goodness), and Ren (endurance). Originally praised by the government for its healing abilities (the state-run health system was saving literally millions of dollars because so many people were getting healthier with this practice), Falun Dafa came under attack once the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) realized that the actual number of practitioners exceeded the entire membership of the Communist Party. Fearing a lack of control, on July 20, 1999, the CCP launched the severe and unjustified persecution of Falun Dafa and its practitioners--detaining, harassing, arresting, torturing, and even harvesting the organs of living practitioners for profit. This video chronicles the practice-from its beginning in China, to its spread around the world, and finally to the decade-long persecution.
