the ywca offers two innovative programs
to help propel women up their career ladders

Though more and more women are joining the ranks of senior leadership in organizations everyday, they often ascend the corporate ladder differently than men and face different career issues and decisions.  The YWCA hosts these powerful programs for professional women, breaking new ground for women's leadership. 

Women's Leadership Boot Camp  is designed for professional women transitioning into management roles.  Ideal candidates have 2 - 10 years of career experience and represent industry, the professions or nonprofit organizations.  They are "rising stars" in their organizations who are being groomed for management roles or increasing levels of responsibility.  

Women's Leadership Momentum is designed for professional women already in management roles who aspire to executive leadership positions.  Ideal candidates have more than ten years of career experience and have people, budget, or project management responsibilities.   

Organizations who support participants will:

• retain women employees who have the potential and desire to be promoted into leadership positions within the company.
• retain a better prepared and higher skilled pipeline of women employees.
