At the YWCA of O‘ahu, we seek to build momentum in the community for women’s leadership development at all levels.  As a catalyst for this effort, we are presenting a groundbreaking women’s leadership seminar in partnership with nationally recognized Institute for Women’s Leadership and its founder/president, Rayona Sharpnack.

More than 5000 professionals, mostly from Fortune 500 companies, have relied on the Institute for Women’s Leadership to produce quality results both at work and in their personal lives.  In 2005, over 20 women attended from around the world for the first Women Leading Change in Hawai‘i.  Companies represented in 2005 included SC Johnson Japan, Kaiser Permanente, Queen's Medical Center, Girl Scout Council of Hawai'i, VISA, Aloha United Way, Native Books/Na Mea, and the YWCA of O'ahu.
