ways to work loans for working parents

the problem
Despite working hard at their jobs, many of Hawai‘i´s families live paycheck to paycheck. Life's unpredictable challenges can plunge a family into financial crisis. On O‘ahu, many working parents commute long distances by bus because they can’t afford to live near the good jobs.

the solution
The Ways to Work program provides loans, ranging from $500 to $4,000, to help qualifying families purchase a used car, or pay for car repairs, housing deposits, or certain other needs. Borrowers repay the loan at a modest interest rate, allowing them to build their credit history.
