aquatics
The mission of the YWCA of O`ahu aquatics department is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where learning to swim and recreation through aquatics is the focus. One of the main tenets of the program is to encourage participants to do their best with their abilities. With an emphasis on positive reinforcement, the program seeks to build confidence and self-esteem in each person.
We have pools at both Laniākea and Kokokahi, and offer a comprehensive swim program at each location. All aquatic staff members are certified Water Safety Instructors (WSI) and there is always a certified Lifeguard on deck to ensure safety. Swim classes are offered on various days and times for your convenience. All swim classes have a low student-to-teacher ratio.
