At part of the Network benefits, two YWCA memberships must be designated to specific individuals within the organization.


At least one participant attending each WHB at Laniākea Network event must be a YWCA of O'ahu member and any guest should be accompanied by the YWCA member.  RSVP's will be required for each event.

"Looking Forward: Hawaii Business 2010"
The Wahine in Hawaii Business at Laniakea network closes 2009 with a look foward. Incoming Chair for the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, Shelley Wilson, will give an overview of business issues as they relate to 2010 priorities and opportunities. Wilson is also the chair of the Chamber’s Small Business Committee and previously served as chair of the Health Issues Committee.

As a follow up to the highly successful Wahine in Hawaii Business Forum, the YWCA of O'ahu, in partnership with Hawaii Business, invites you to become a member of this new network for Hawaii's amazing business women.  The Wahine in Hawaii Business Network will create opportunities and shared experiences for business women to connect and learn from each other, build diverse relationships and engage in thoughtful conversations about business issues. This network is ideal for business women looking for peer-to-peer engagement, and those who are driven and interested in building up a community of women in business.

The Wahine in Hawaii Business at Laniākea (WHB) Network will include 40 members from 20 leading organizations in Hawaii. Annual network fee to join is $900 per organization (10 events annually).

Opportunities to invite additional guests to WHB at Laniākea events:
A minimum of 20 extra seats to each event will be made available to YWCA members on a first come first served basis at $50.00 per person.  This is a great opportunity to invite guests to share in the network!
