THANK YOU SAFEWAY EMPLOYEES AND FOUNDATION!
In May of 2009, Val Elliott, District Manager with Safeway and representing The Safeway Foundation, presents a check for $3,739.51 to YWCA Executive Director, Eric Brown, supporting the YWCA's Yolanda House Shelter for Survivors of Domestic Violence. Funds for this donation were raised entirely through employee contributions. Employees were also instrumental in selecting which agencies they would support. We are grateful to each and every one of them who reached deep into their pockets, even though we are all feeling the pinch! Thank you for choosing the YWCA and our Yolanda House Shelter for Domestic Violence Survivors.
