The YWCA Fort Worth & Tarrant County was chartered in 1907 and was the first YWCA in  Texas.  Our YWCA currently focuses on the needs of economically disadvantaged women and children with the following programs:

My Own Place, Supportive LivingRacial Justice and  Child Development.
