crisis hotline and response
The YWCA has a 24-hour crisis line covered by YWCA staff. This is typically the first step a victim/survivor takes to access the services provided by the YWCA. In addition volunteers throughout the community provide supportive services to a sexual assault victims in the hospitals or in our Nurse Examiner facilities.

domestic violence safety plan
Safety planning can save lives. Remember, these are ideas not suggestions or advice. Each victim/survivor knows best what would be most effective in use with her/his assailant. Trusting what a victim/survivor knows and believes will be helpful in determining the best safety plan.
Please feel free to call the YWCA of Kalamazoo if you have any questions or need additional information, (269) 385-3587.
