Domestic Violence Awareness Month
The Clothesline Project

The Clothesline Project is a display of T-shirts decorated by survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault, as well as by family, friends and others affected by intimate violence. The public is invited to attend the opening of The Clothesline Project and a brief ceremony designating October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Speakers will include Ivy Tech Chancellor David A. Bathe, West Lafayette Mayor John Dennis, Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarski, and Tippecanoe County Council President Kevin Underwood. Several social service providers will set up booths.

The Clothesline Project will be on display at Ivy Tech throughout the month of October.
