In her new novel, The Summer Kitchen, set in Bedford, New York, Karen Weinreb tells the story of how one woman copes with losing it all after her husband is arrested for white collar crime.  Karen will read excerpts from her book and speak on the importance to women of economic independence.  She is a former newspaper journalist with degress from Yale University and Oxford.

Join us for "a girls night out" as lee Woodruff discusses her latest book, Perfectly Imperfect..., each of whose chapters talk about the different aspects of every woman's life and the experiences that connect us all.  Lee is also the coauthor of the best selling book, In An Instant,  that she wrote with her husband, Bob Woodruff, the ABC-TV commentator, following his roadside bomb injury in Iraq.
