FULL TIME SHELTER COOK
The YWCA Oklahoma City is seeking candidates for full time cook at Passageway Domestic Violence Shelter. The successful candidate will prepare nutritional meals for residents, plan weekly menus, food management and ordering, and inventory. The job also requires light housekeeping and planning special diets or dietary needs of clients. The position requires a self-motivated, team player who is self-directed, and professionally-mannered. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, knowledge of general food preparation and cooking for large groups. GROUP FACILITATOR
The YWCA is seeking a part-time, self-motivated Group Facilitator for the Batterer Intervention Program. Qualified individuals will demonstrate strong skills in the following areas: listening, verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork. This position requires a Bachelors degree in a social service field with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience with direct client services, and/or group facilitation; A Master’s degree is preferred. The position requires evening and Saturday work, along with flexibility, and reports to the Director of Batterer Intervention Services. VOLUNTEERS & OUTREACH INTERN

COMMUNICATIONS & PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERN
The YWCA Oklahoma City has an available internship with the Communications Department. The purpose of this position is to teach interns about the field of communications and public relations in the non profit sector and to help acclimate them to the demands of the profession. Each intern will receive hands-on, real-world experience as they team up with the YWCA on projects such as: public relations and media campaigns, project planning, research and fact gathering, website design, event planning and many others.
