WHAT:             2nd Annual “A Race to Empower a Bold Community” 5k and 1 Mile Dog Run / Fun Run 

BENEFITS:       YWCA of Northwest Georgia, Atlanta Beat Soccer Foundation, and Kennesaw State University

WHO:               The Empowerment 5K is open to all; it does not require a particular level of fitness. Prizes will be given in all age brackets. All participants receive a commemorative t-shirt.   Non-runners can support the YWCA as a Phantom Runner and receive their shirts after the race. 

WHEN:             Saturday, April 23, 2011

                        6:30 am - Registration & Packet Pick-up
                        8:00 am - 5K Run
                        9:00 am - 1Mile Run/Walk
                        9:15 am - 1 Mile Dog Jog 

WHERE:           This is a rain or shine event!
                        Race begins and ends at BrandsMart USA – Kennesaw at 3305 Busbee Drive

Overflow parking available at the KSU Continuing Education Center  

FEES:               Timed 5K Run - $30 thru Wednesday, April 20th; $35 on race day
                        Untimed 5K Walk/Run - $25 thru Wednesday, April 20th; $30 on race day
                        1 Mile Fun Run/Walk - $20 thru Wednesday, April 20th; $25 on race day
                        1 Mile Dog Jog - $20 thru Wednesday, April 20th; $25 on race day
                        Phantom Runner - $35 thru Wednesday, April 20th
