YWCA Community Adult Learning Lab
The General Educational Development (GED) Certificate Program has been a priority at the YWCA of Greater Milwaukee for more than a decade. The program was developed in order to meet the rising demand from local employers for a higher level of reading and math skills. In January 2005, the YWCA became an official Wisconsin GED Certificate Testing Center.
During 2007-2008 the YWCA graduated a record-breaking number of students. The success of the YWCA's GED Certificate Program is linked to offering students flexible schedules, self-paced learning and individual instruction when necessary.
The YWCA's Community Adult Learning Lab is free and open to the public.
