Our 16th annual Flying Fish Aquatics Swim Marathon is underway!
Flying Fish swimmers challenge their endurance and raise money to support the YWCA Evanston/North Shore by collecting pledges for a one hour continuous swim. By the time the marathon is over, swimmers will have swum a combined total of about 550 miles and raised between $75,000 and $100,000 to support Violence Prevention and Building Healthy Relationships programming in our schools, Domestic Violence Services for women and children in crisis, and financial assistance for families who cannot afford the cost of swimming lessons for their children.
