Donor Spotlight - Alice Byrne

Alice Byrne, Vice President of Allstate Insurance Company Midwest Region has been a strong and enthusiastic supporter of the YWCA. She joined YWCA Metropolitan Chicago’s Board of Directors in 2008. Since joining the board, she has been heavily involved with the YWCA, serving on the development leadership committee. Alice will take on a prominent role as 2009 Chair for the YWCA’s annual fundraiser, Leader Luncheon, our largest annual event with over 1300 attendees.
The YWCA is committed to providing women and girls with the support and tools needed to transform their lives, be confident in their choices and make valuable contributions to their communities. These goals align closely with Allstate and the Allstate Foundation’s commitment to support economic empowerment for women, especially in those affected by violence.
“Allstate takes a special interest in the greater Chicagoland community, our company’s hometown for more than 75 years. We are particularly invested in this community because we recognize that a thriving hometown is critical to Allstate’s success,” Alice said.
Allstate is a company committed to supporting the communities where employees live and work by contributing to programs where its experience, partnership and leadership will have the greatest impact. The company supports a variety of programs and organizations throughout the country that help create strong and vital communities.
