Over 200 volunteers generously dedicate 40,000+ hours every year to enhance the quality of our programs. We value the time, energy and talent they contribute to either one-time service projects or as volunteers on a regular basis. You can help the YWCA El Paso del Norte Region in many ways.
 Childcare Assistant
Duties
 Assists children 0-12 years of age
Performs teaching activities
Engages in children’s health needs
Participates in safety and developmental tasks
Complies with all classroom policies and regulations
Activity Assistant - School-Age Program 
Duties
Assists children 5 and older
Provides help with homework
Participates in various recreational activities
Maintains a healthy learning environment
Complies with all classroom policies and regulations
 Clerk
Duties
Assists at various YWCA departments
Performs clerical duties to include:
filing documents, answering telephones,
data entry, copying, mail-outs, document creation
using MS Office software, among other duties
Health Attendant 
Duties
Provides assistance to the Health & Wellness Division
Supervises exercise activities
May provide instruction on weight conditioning programs
Assists in class workouts
Contributes to the enhancement of physical education
 Internships
Duties
The YWCA can work with four-year and two-year colleges and/or universities, as well as technical or business schools, to help students meet credit and degree requirements.
Interns will be supervised by YWCA staff and are expected to dress and act in a manner appropriate to a business environment.
All internships are unpaid unless otherwise noted.
