20th Anniversary Celebration
and Re-dedication

Marian E. Hinson had a vision of a place to help women and families, not just with a temporary roof, but with a path to full and productive lives. In 1989, Marian was able to see her vision begin to take shape with the opening of the YWCA Home-Life Management Center, a facility for homeless families with case management and no time restrictions. 

This fall, as a memorial to Marian, YWCA Delaware will re-name and re-dedicate the Marian E. Hinson Home-Life Management Center, who passed on April 10, 2009 and to celebrate 20 years of service to women, families and the community. 

Marian has touched the lives of thousands of women and families in need. Please help us continue her legacy by donating to the Marian Hinson Memorial. With your generous support we will cover the costs of new signage for the building and a bust/ portrait of Marian for the lobby. Remaining funds will go towards support of the programs that Marian was so passionate about; helping touch the lives of thousands of more women and their families.
