Motivated by courageous women of the past who wouldn’t take NO for an answer, the YWCA joins with you and your friends to change our world. We lend our rich history and legacy of accomplishments to our new OWN IT campaign to ignite all women, but especially your generation of women, ages 18–30, to take purposeful action.

|
Here are some specific things you can do:
|
- Host a “house party” to benefit the YWCA
(to spread the word about our services or raise money)
|
- Participate as volunteers and mentors in support of our existing programs
|
- Participate in social media to engage other young women
|
- Attend an Empower Hour and invite friends to one
|
|
|
- Send in stories, videos and photos on how you “Own it”
|
|
|
- Spread the word to your network of young women and encourage them to get involved with YWCA
|
- Help with advocacy campaigns
