women in crisis domestic violence program
The YWCA Women in Crisis program’s mission is to empower and educate survivors of domestic violence and the community through advocacy, intervention, and support. We serve victims of domestic violence and their children with our shelters,  local 24-hour Women’s Helpline, legal advocacy services, support groups, and the wide array of other services, including crisis counseling, life skills, art therapy, transitional housing, volunteer placement, internships, children’s programming, and community education services.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE.

Women and children are the primary victims of domestic abuse. Persons facing abusive behavior can come from any social or economic level. Victims come from every race, gender and background.
