news and announcements

in memoriam
Louise C. Kellett, a former Board Member and lontime supporter of the YWCA of Greenville, passed away August 5, 2009. Until her retirement in 2004, Miss Kellett was the owner and President of Kellett Enterprises, Inc., the company she founded in 1960. As a business owner in a time when most working women were secretaries, Louise Kellett paved the way for many women-owned businesses to come. In addition to her numerous awards and honors, Miss Kellett was the recipient of the YWCA's Amy K. Stubbs Women of Achievement Award for her service to the Greenville community. We at the YWCA would like to honor Louise Kellett for her dedication to this organization and her many contributions to Greenville.
