Tribute to Women of Influence Banquet

Our 19th Annual Tribute to Women of Influence Awards Banquet (which is now sold out) will be held Thursday, March 25th. Former NC Representative Wilma Sherrill will be receiving the Director's Choice Award that night. The emcee is Jerri Jameson of Clear Channel Radio. The Honorary Chair is Maria Roloff of Mission Hospital, TWIN 2009 Honoree of the Year. Find out more about the event and see a list of the Honorees here



Women's History Month Panel on March 17th

UNC Asheville will host a panel discussion on “Celebrating Advocacy: Asheville YWCA Working to Empower Women and Eliminate Racism” at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, in UNC Asheville’s Laurel Forum, Karpen Hall. The discussion will include a brief history of the YWCA’s work in Asheville and input from a panel of YWCA program directors. A question-and-answer session will the program.
