Hochelaga Alumnae Association Membership (HAAM)
 |
|
For ninety years, YWCA Camp Hochelaga has been working to inspire girls’ growth, leadership, and power. As a result, the YWCA of Vermont is fortunate to have a thriving community of former campers and staffers around the world, who are our best recruiters and spokespeople, and contribute to the success of the whole organization as Board and Committee members, volunteers, donors, and friends.

Connect with ‘Laga women across the decades. Here are four opportunities:
- Join the YWCA of Vermont as a “HAAM.”
You will receive our biannual newsletter including Alumnae news, the YWCA of Vermont Annual Report, and announcements about special events and activities. Click Here to Join.
- Attend the Annual Alumnae Reunion.
Join us at Camp Hochelaga each August (typically held the weekend immediately after the last session of camp) to re-connect with your favorite counselors and cabin mates, share stories by the camp fire, and see if you can still swim to the point.
This year, we will hold a gala 90th Anniversary Alumnae Reunion on Saturday, August 15th and Sunday, August 16th. We are preparing for legions of wonderful women and their loved ones to converge in South Hero, where we will celebrate our collective achievements of the last nine decades. Please contact the office at 802-862-7520 to make sure you’re on the mailing list!
- Facebook with us.
Hundreds of former campers and staffers are using the Facebook group “YWCA Camp Hochelaga” to get together. The group page includes photos, reminiscences, and updates from alum of every decade. If you’re looking for specific alumnae, this is a great place to post a quick inquiry of their whereabouts.
