She has worked in the investment management industry for more than 22 years, and has a background in equity analysis in global markets. Nikki also participates in business resource groups at the firm to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion with women’s and Black professionals’ networks.
Nikki began her career at Bankers Trust, where she held the position of global equity analyst for mutual funds and institutional portfolios. After a two-year sabbatical, part of which was spent traveling around the world, Nikki returned to Federated as a client portfolio manager. In this role, she was focused on educating both existing and potentially new clients about Federated’s International and Global investment vehicles, as well as global macroeconomic conditions.
What drew you to serve the YWCA in this way
Through a women’s network at my firm, we sponsored the YWCA for an event with the UN Council on Women, which further ignited my passion to serve women and girls of color. Because I work in finance, which is not heavily populated with women and people of color, I am passionate about diversity in leadership.
