Digital Communications Coordinator, Marketing and Communications
Tiffany Wang is the digital communications coordinator for YWCA USA, where she does everything from overseeing the organization’s overall digital presence to managing the production and execution of all published, written, and marketing collateral. In her time at YWCA USA, she has ramped up the organization’s online presence and was largely the voice behind their social media. Previously, Tiffany worked for the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities during the Obama Administration, and prior to that, she did research and monitored human rights abuses at the Congressional-Executive Commission on China. Tiffany is currently a fellow at Collective Action for Safe Spaces, an organization working to eliminate public gendered harassment and assault in the D.C. area using community-based solutions through an intersectional lens.
She holds a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, where she doubled in International Area Studies and Chinese. Unapologetic in her commitment to social justice, Tiffany believes that philanthropy, mainstream nonprofits and businesses can and should boldly support our country’s most marginalized communities and women of color, and that centering them is critical to creating transformative change. When she’s not scrolling through Instagram, you can find Tiffany wandering around D.C.’s local bookstores, hiking in her hometown of Portland, Oregon, or snacking her way through her parents’ birth country of Taiwan.
