Support the Nomination of Vanita Gupta as Associate Attorney General

On behalf of The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights – a coalition of more than 220 national organizations committed to promoting and protecting the civil and human rights of all persons in the United States – and the 115 undersigned organizations, we write to express our strong support for the confirmation of The Leadership Conference’s former president and CEO Vanita Gupta to serve as Associate Attorney General of the United States. We could not be more pleased that President Biden has tapped Ms. Gupta for this critical leadership position at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
