YWCA FY22 Appropriations Requests

FVPSA is the first and only federal funding stream dedicated to supporting domestic violence shelters. In addition to COVID emergency spending to FVPSA grantees from the American Rescue Plan, USA Spending reports that 61 YWCAs in 28 states have received FVPSA funding in the past five years, which—when combined with local, state, and private investments—supports lifesaving services in safety, childcare, housing, transportation, counseling and more.
