FVPSA is the first and only federal funding stream dedicated to supporting domestic violence shelters. USAspending reports that 61 YWCAs in 28 states have received FVPSA funding in the past five years, which—when combined with local, state, and private investments—supports lifesaving services in safety, childcare, housing, transportation, counseling and more.
