YWCA USA CEO's Statement on the Equal Rights Amendment

YWCA USA CEO, Alejandra Y. Castillo, submits a statement advocating for the Equal Rights Amendment as it would help improve the lives of survivors of domestic and sexual violence around the country by giving Congress the constitutional basis to pass laws that give women victimized by gender-based violence recourse in the courts and providing a constitutional basis for claims of gender-based violence.
